Metastatic breast cancer

Metastatic breast cancer is Breast cancer that has spread beyond the primary tumor. It is incurable, but may be treated with radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and Hormonal therapy including Tamoxifen. Recently Bevacizumab was approved for the treatment of metastatic breast cancer, along with Paclitaxel.[1] Zometa is effective in treatment if the patient has Bone metastases.[2]
